Public Relations (Community & Customer)
Understanding the importance of Public Relations is critical to security guards and their organizations. Lessons in this course will deal with topics such as gender and racial harassment and discrimination, stereotyping, crisis intervention, diversity, substance abuse and mental illness, ethics and professionalism, attitude, appearance, and conduct will all be covered.
Be provided with an understanding of the proper attitude, appearance, and conduct of a security professional.
Be provided with an understanding of excellent customer relations and how that affects the performance of a security professional and employer.
As the first person a visitor, vendor or employee meets, learn that demeanor, appearance, and attitude will impact a security professional's performance.
Be given knowledge of the conditions that indicate an individual may be suffering from mental illness.
